Originally from Cagayan de Oro City in the Philippines, Jamis Roel moved to the U.S. in 2010 to specialize in internal medicine at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. He joined ArchWell Health because he understands the many barriers to health older adults face. Roel believes spending more time with patients allows him to treat them successfully. When he’s not treating patients, he enjoys spending time with his wife and 13-year-old twin boys.
